Sell Your Dress

Your bridal gown is one of the biggest clothing purchases that you will make and it can seem such a waste to see your beautiful designer dress hanging in your cupboard collecting dust.

 

Bridal Envy gives you the opportunity to turn your once worn gown into something that you can admire and appreciate for years to come: an eternity ring, a pair of earrings or even a second honeymoon with your husband.

 

Bridal Envy is a consignment store, therefore we sell your preowned wedding dress on your behalf.

How it works:

• Fill in the form and we will organise a time for to look at your dress, we will only accept dresses that have been dry cleaned and are in immaculate condition.

• Together we will go over the dress and work out a price together. A pre-owned dress will usually sell for around half (50%) to a third (35%) of what you paid for it including the cost of dry-cleaning. If you have accessories that you would like to sell alongside your dress please bring these too. 

•  We will contact you as soon as your dress is sold, 60% of the payment will be transferred immediately into your nominated bank account.

 

 

What happens to my dress once it is in store?

• Your dress will be displayed in our Mosman Boutique on Sydney's Lower North Shore.

• We book in one on one appointments with future brides to allow them maximum time and attention to try on your dress and accessories.

• Future brides are asked to come to their appointment fresh faced and fake tan free to ensure that your dress is preserved in its very best condition.

• We help the brides in and out of the dress to minimise handling of the gown and to assist with buttons and zips. Dresses will not be pinned if they are too large.

• Once the dress has been purchased the bride will take the dress and the money will be transferred into your account. We will not sell your dress below the agreed price without speaking to you first.
